Exercise also releases endorphins which can reduce depression and anxiety symptoms that often come with age-related changes in the body. Low impact activities such as walking or swimming are great ways to get started if you haven’t been active for some time. If possible find an activity that you enjoy doing so that it doesn’t feel like a chore!


Nutrition Matters

As we age our nutritional needs change as well so it’s important to pay close attention to what we eat in order to keep our bodies functioning optimally. Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables is essential for getting all the vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants necessary for healthy aging.
